1. Animals should not be fed for at least 12 hours prior to appointment time.
2. Animals should not be bathed for at least 5 days prior to appointment.
3. Animals should be off of all oral steroids for at least 3-4 weeks, off of all long-acting injectable steroids for at least 6-8 weeks, and off of all tranquilizers, antihistamines, and anti-inflammatory agents for at least 5 days prior to appointment (if possible).
